Boston, you are legendary!
The 127th Boston Marathon took place this past Monday, April 17th and Swivel Bottle was there!
Swivel Bottle founder Thys Wind ran a 2:54 in his 3rd Boston Maratho, good enough to place in the top 10% overall.
Carrying his favorite sport drink and water in his Swivel Bottle enabled Thys to nail his fueling strategy all the way from the sleepy town of Hopkington to the raucous finish line on Boylston Street.

Quick race recap:
No two Boston Marathons are ever the same. This year's edition included 30,000 runners. As always, hundreds of thousands of spectators lined the course from start to finish to cheer on athletes from all over the world. The weather was cool and rainy and the course was tough as always, particularly during the legendary 5 mile stretch through the Newton hills which includes Heartbreak Hill. This year's race marked the 10th anniversary since the tragic events of 2013, when 2 home-made bombs exploded along the crowded finish line, leaving scores wounded and several dead. Many inspiring stories came out of that horrible day, and the race continues to be the most iconic and best produced marathon in the world.
